PRISMA 1666 - Interactive Installation by Wonwei /...
via vimeo.com this is gorgeous. though “Three Elements” by Nam June Paik still stands as my favorite laser work to date (of course I saw that in person so perhaps there is some bias there), but this is definitely second, and the interactivity makes it that much more interesing. would love to see it in person at some point. via vimeo.com
Lovely short about sword maker Korehira Watanabe. I have quite amount of gratitude for this short, as I have been a consummate a fan of the remaining swordsmiths in Japan. I have a small but thorough library here at home with many of these works, and it’s likely each will out last all of us by hundreds of years.
Thank You Etsy.

The New MINI Coupé Presents: "Hitchhiker"...
This has been around for a few months, but I like it so much I finally posted it. One of the reasons I like it is that, well it reminds of my great trip to Iceland, but also because it reminds me of the great little Icelandic / Japanese film Cold Fever, which has a similar scene. And also it has a somewhat Kaurismäki / Jarmusch feel to it as well of which I am big fans.
There are a few more in...

Christian Marclay on Night Music 1989
